In this role you will take the lead on developing and enhancing supplier management capabilities, working closely with senior stakeholders across a complex public sector environment. It's a chance to shape how supplier relationships are managed, influence strategic decisions, and deliver visible outcomes at pace.

- Contract Length: 184 billable days (6 months)
- IR35: In scope
- Rate: (Apply online only) /day
- Location: Whittington or Andover
- Working pattern: Around 3 days per week on site (with some flexibility, e.g. 2 days in some weeks) plus occasional travel to other sites
- Must be eligible for or have active SC
What You Will Be Doing
- Driving the development and improvement of supplier relationship management processes and frameworks.
- Engaging proactively with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior decision-makers.
- Working with incomplete or high-level information, identifying what's missing, and then sourcing, collating, and presenting it in a clear, actionable way.
- Presenting findings, recommendations, and outcomes confidently to senior stakeholders.
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in supplier management.
What They Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar role with clear, demonstrable outcomes in supplier or SRM development.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver at pace.
- Comfort working with limited information and turning ambiguity into structured, presentable insight.
- Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and SharePoint.
- MCIPS (or equivalent experience) is highly desirable - Level 4 CIPS with a supporting track record is also suitable.
- Previous SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) experience.
Desirable Experience
- Power BI reporting exposure.
- Background in the public sector.
