Understanding of mental capacity assessments. Comprehensive knowledge of administrative procedures and systems.We are seeking a Safeguarding Coordinator/Administrator to be based in our office in Wembley to play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable adults in our community. Job Purpose Professionally handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence to the Safeguarding Adults Team, addressing simple queries and escalating complex ones to the Safeguarding Adults Risk Manager. Refer cases that do not meet the adult safeguarding threshold to appropriate services. Process safeguarding concern work steps on Mosaic. Communicate the outcomes of safeguarding concerns and other referrals to referrers.Key Responsibilities Identify and initiate office support tasks, ensuring proactive cover for colleagues when needed. This includes meeting arrangements, note-taking, minute-taking, and data management. Apply council-wide administrative processes to support service delivery, such as sending letters and maintaining accurate records. Maintain and update IT systems, including corporate databases like Mosaic, ensuring data accuracy for statutory returns and local datasets. Scan, upload, and securely dispose of documents following Data Protection Act requirements. Professionally handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, redirecting queries as appropriate. Respond sensitively to enquiries from professionals and customers, considering individual circumstances. Maintain strict confidentiality of all records and adhere to safeguarding and data protection guidelines. Positively contribute to the delivery of the service, demonstrating flexibility to achieve the council's objectives. Monitor incoming work folders and highlight priority cases to the SARM.
