What You Will Do:

– Work as part of a small, dynamic warehouse team to ensure smooth operations.

– Accurately pick customer orders using scanners and pack consignments for safe transportation.

– Safely load and unload goods onto and from vehicles, adhering to best practices.

– Book in and check deliveries of stock, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

– Operate a warehouse location management system to maintain efficient stock control.

– Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines, including safe storage of goods and proper use of PPE.

What You Will Bring:

– A valid FLT Counterbalance and/or Reach licence.

– Strong communication and numeracy skills, with a proactive and flexible approach.

– Experience in a chemical store is preferred but not essential.

– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, even under pressure.

– Awareness of warehouse health and safety practices, with a commitment to maintaining standards.

Hours are 8.45-5.00pm Mon-Thursday and 4.30 finish on Fridays. Holidays : 22 days + statutory holidays,and increases to 25 days after 3 years and 27 days after 6 years).

This Warehouse Assistant role is integral to the company\’s mission of delivering outstanding service and operational excellence. By ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment, you\’ll play a key part in supporting the company\’s goals and values, making a real difference in the day-to-day running of the warehouse.

Location:

This position is based in Droitwich starting in September, driving licence will be required due to rural location.
