Job Description

Role: Part Time Supervising Social Worker

Location: Darlington

Pay: £40,000-£44,000

NonStop's client, based in the North East, is looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their independent fostering agency on a permanent basis.

They are a very flexible agency that are open to bringing on a Social Worker in either a full time or part time capacity. They are a therapeutic service that keep children's well-being at the centre of everything they do.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, support, and train foster carers
  • Manage a caseload in Darlington and surrounding areas
  • Build lasting and positive relationships in order to provide the best outcome for children

Requirements:

  • Registration with Social work England (SWE)
  • Driver
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Experience working within the Social Care sector, preferably in fostering
