Responsible Individual / Operations Manager
Pay: £65,000-£70,000 (flexible depending on experience)

Our client, a small but ambitious care organisation in the North East, is looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join their team as a Responsible Individual/Operations Manager. This pivotal role sits between the Board of Directors and the Registered Managers of both an Independent Fostering Agency (IFA) and a Children\’s Residential Home.
You will work closely with the Director, overseeing day-to-day operations of both services. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where your input and expertise will directly shape the organisation\’s future.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the Registered Managers of both the IFA and Children\’s Residential Home
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Ofsted) and uphold the organisation\’s model of care
- Provide guidance, supervision, and empowerment to managers to help them deliver the highest quality outcomes for children and young people
- Contribute to service development, including playing a key role in the service\’s expansion plans
- Maintain strong working relationships with foster carers, staff, and external stakeholders
- Oversee the day to day operations of both services
Requirements:
- Strong management/leadership experience within children\’s social care (IFA, residential, or related setting)
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to empower and support managers
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, policies and procedures
- A values-driven approach, aligned with the organisation\’s ethos and model of care
- Flexibility to travel to the children\’s home and head office as required
