Job Description

Registered Manager - CQC

Residential Home

Location: York

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (+ OTE and 10% Bonus)

Step into a leadership role where your expertise shapes lives and drives meaningful change. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager for a residential home in York, just a short walk from the train station, offering the perfect balance of accessibility and character.

This large, characterful home, registered for 23 beds and currently supporting 18 long-term residents, provides a stable, family-like environment with a loyal, experienced team. You'll lead a supportive staff group, including a strong deputy with over five years' tenure, and benefit from regional management support and an assigned buddy to ensure a smooth onboarding.

In this role, you'll have the autonomy to innovate and make your mark. The service, following significant improvements, is offering a blank canvas to implement new ideas, shape care delivery, and drive occupancy. With opportunities to develop additional living spaces, there is genuine scope to grow both the service and your career.

We are looking for a manager with proven experience leading residential services, particularly in mental health and addiction. Candidates already registered and with a track record of longevity in previous roles will thrive here. Whether you prefer a locum start in a few weeks or a permanent move, your leadership will be central to sustaining and enhancing the home's high standards.

The role offers a salary of up-to £50,000 per year, plus a 10% performance bonus and additional admissions incentives, reflecting your contribution to the service's success.

If you're ready to take the reins of a well-established home with a stable resident group, supportive staff, and the freedom to innovate, this is your opportunity to make a real impact. Interviews are scheduled next week, with informal chats available beforehand for the right candidates.

Please send CV to or alternatively give me a call on and ask for Tom.
