Job Description

Location of assessments: Waterlooville Hampshire

Salary Package: £850 per day

Benefits for the Locum Educational Psychologist:

  • Joint work with another EP (not a standalone EP assessment).
  • No full EP report required.
  • Deliverables: brief observation summary + scoring of any cognitive assessment undertaken.
  • Time expectation: ~1 hour with the child + ~1 hour write-up per case.
  • Throughput: ideally 3 cases in a day.
  • Locum contract

NonStop Care is working with a reputable psychology clinic in Hampshire to help them find a Locum Educational Psychologist for the team. They are a well established, strong and supportive team.

This would not be for full independent EP assessments – the psychologist would be working jointly with another EP, completing a short observation and scoring any cognitive assessment conducted. In practical terms, this equates to approximately one hour face-to-face time with the child and one hour of write-up per case.

The typical plan is for three of these to be delivered within a standard working day.

Must be a registered educational psychologist
