We're looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead and develop a Security Operations capability within a high-profile public sector environment.

This is a strategic leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in cyber security operations, incident response, and SOC service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Lead and manage an established Security Operations Centre (SOC)
/n
- Develop and deliver the SOC strategy and operational roadmap
/n
- Oversee incident management and security monitoring capabilities
/n
- Drive threat intelligence and cyber threat assessment activities
/n
- Manage cyber security tools and operational technologies
/n
- Build and maintain relationships with MSSPs, vendors, and technology partners
/n
- Effectively plan and deploy resources to meet business objectives
/n
/n
Essential Skills & Experience
/n
/n
- Proven experience as a SOC Manager (applications from SOC Analysts will not be considered)
/n
- Strong leadership and people management experience
/n
- In-depth knowledge of incident management processes
/n
- Experience delivering effective security monitoring and threat intelligence capabilities
/n
- Hands-on experience managing cyber security tools and technologies
/n
- Experience working with external vendors and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)
/n
/n
Desirable
/n
/n
- CISSP, CISM or equivalent cyber security certification
/n
- Cloud security experience (AWS and/or Azure)
/n
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent
/n

- Remote (occasional travel may be required)

- Up to £850/day (Umbrella)
/n
- Active SC Clearance is essential - applicants must already hold valid SC clearance to be considered.
