NonStop Consulting is working with a Local Authority in the South West of England in order to find an experienced Social Worker who can join the Children and Families service in a non-case holding capacity, providing vital duty support across the service. This is a hybrid role, with 1 - 2 days per week in the office and the rest working from home, offering you a lot of flexibility and a good work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This role centres on responding to immediate needs and offering timely, practical support to teams during periods of duty demand.
  • The Social Worker will be supported by a Duty Manager, who will coordinate the week's duty tasks and ensure you have clear direction, guidance and support.
  • While you will not hold your own caseload, you will need to be confident in producing clear, concise records, maintaining accurate information, and ensuring all actions are completed promptly and documented appropriately.
