Analytical Chemist/HPLC Analyst
Do you hold experience in Liquid Chromatography, both hands on analysis coupled with routine maintenance and calibration?
We are currently supporting the recruitment of a HPLC Analyst to work on sample analysis and release. The role starts on an estimated 6 month FTC (potentially longer length) with a good potential for a permanent contract upon completion.
Role Responsibilities:
- Carrying out testing of chemical samples.
- Authorisation of production batch release.
- Update of database and product paperwork
- Carrying out any other pre-shipment testing or sample testing as directed by the Principal Scientist.
- Equipment maintenance and calibration
- Biological sample analysis
- Processing all column shipments, and column packing.
- Maintain asset database
- Review of Certificates of analysis
- Adhere to company procedures to ensure our customers high quality standards are maintained.
- Support the team and manager in achieving team KPI always striving for improvements.
To be considered for this role you will have the following experience:
- Industry based laboratory experience within sample analysis.
- Experienced in using Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
- Some experience within routine equipment maintenance and calibration
- Candidates who have experience in HPLC repair and more in depth maintenance would be at a further advantage.
Candidates will be available to start on a Fixed Term Contract in the Cambridge area at relatively short notice.
Candidates must have eligibility to work in the UK, and suitable for potential permanent positions in future.
