We are Nonsensical. We’re a team built on passion, driven by creativity, always led by curiosity, and grounded in honesty. We help brands show up, stand out, and blow up on TikTok. From viral restaurants like Urban Tandoor, to leading B2B brands, global banks, and huge beauty brands.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Production Leadership
    • Own all aspects of production for Gold-tier clients, from pre-production through to delivery.
    • When needed, lead shoots on the day, ensuring all shots are captured, quality remains high, and the schedule is followed.

    • Handle production budgets end to end, including cost tracking, completing P&Ls, and keeping stakeholders informed.
    • Flag scope or cost risks early and find solutions quickly.
  • Pre-Production Planning
    • When needed, write detailed, accurate shot lists that reflect the treatment and align with creative goals.
    • Create and manage production timelines, ensuring internal and external stakeholders stay on track.
    • Coordinate with Creative Ops to plan resource capacity and assess feasibility.
    • Support account managers with wider campaign schedules where needed.
  • Logistics & Set Support
    • Source props, manage set builds, and liaise with suppliers as required.
    • Build and maintain a strong freelance network (DOPs, editors, gaffers, runners, etc).
    • Be present on set for key client shoots and live stream productions, supporting direction, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the shoot runs to time and quality standards.
  • Permissions, Permits & Paperwork
    • Secure and manage all relevant permits for filming.
    • Ensure contributor permissions and release forms are completed accurately for every shoot.
  • Meetings & Communication
    • Run production meetings with clarity and control.
    • For each meeting, follow up with clear, actionable notes ahead of each shoot.
    • Communicate proactively with creatives, account managers, clients, and crew.
    • Ask the right questions to turn creative ideas into workable production plans.
  • Post-Shoot Follow-Up
    • Lead post-shoot retrospectives/wash-ups on Gold clients, ensuring lessons learned are captured and shared with relevant teams.

What we are looking for:

  • Experienced in fast-paced content or agency production - you’ve seen it all from studio shoots to scrappy TikToks.
  • A natural organiser who thrives under pressure - you stay calm, even when things go off-script.
  • Confident on set - you can lead a shoot, brief a crew, and bring out the best in creators and clients.
  • Strong communication skills - you keep people informed, aligned, and accountable.
  • TikTok-savvy - you know what native content looks and feels like, and how to achieve it.
  • Budget-aware and deadline-driven - you deliver great work on time and on cost.
  • Collaborative and grounded - you build trust fast and make things happen.
  • Experience sourcing freelance talent for shoots.

Bonus points if you:

  • Have live stream or TikTok Shop production experience.
  • Have social media agency experience.
