As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Head Of Talent Acquisition & People to lead and evolve our hiring strategy, develop our people operations, and help build a team that thrives in a fast-paced creative environment.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on building high performing teams, creating best in class people processes, and ensuring Nonsensical remains one of the most exciting and rewarding places to work in the creative industry.

Here’s what you’ll do for us

Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution

  • Lead all hiring across the agency - from planning and sourcing through to hiring and onboarding
  • Partner with leadership to forecast needs and shape workforce planning across teams
  • Build a consistent pipeline of top-tier talent in creative, strategy, production, and operational roles
  • Implement scalable and inclusive recruitment processes that reflect our values and culture
  • Oversee freelance hiring and manage a trusted network of external partners

People Operations & Development

  • Lead the people function day-to-day, overseeing onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, and development frameworks
  • Partner with managers to support employee growth, career paths, and goal setting
  • Create and implement HR policies that support our remote-first, creative working culture
  • Introduce tools, processes and initiatives that support a high-performing, happy and engaged team
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people matters

Culture & Experience

  • Be a visible culture leader within the business, supporting initiatives that nurture creativity, inclusion and collaboration
  • Design and deliver regular team experiences, workshops and wellbeing initiatives
  • Gather and act on employee feedback to evolve how we work
  • Work with the leadership team to shape and evolve our benefits offering

Skills, experience and characteristics

  • 3+ years in talent acquisition ideally in a fast-growing creative, media or digital agency.
  • 2+ years in people/HR leadership helping shape culture
  • Proven experience building recruitment functions and successfully scaling teams
  • Deep understanding of people operations, including performance, employee relations and engagement
  • Highly strategic, but comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting things done
  • Strong working knowledge of recruitment and HR tools (e.g. Workable, BambooHR, Notion, Slack)
  • A confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Passionate about building inclusive, values led workplaces
  • A natural problem solver with strong judgement and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with TikTok, creator culture or creative industries is a bonus
