Summary:
We are seeking a Front of House professional to join our team. We are looking for a charismatic individual who has excellent customer service and the ability to be flexible and perform well under pressure. Candidates will have the most success if they experience in coffee, food retail and a good knowledge of Italian food.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
Always being up to speed on product knowledge and sharing that information with customers and team members
Maintain outstanding shop condition
Monitoring inventory levels and receiving orders
Shop administration and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Serving food and drink
Opening and closing procedures when required
Take part in appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths (weekly/monthly meetings)
Performing cleaning duties, which includes wiping down windows, fixtures as well as sweeping and mopping the shop floor
Additional duties as required
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous FOH experience
Previous experience working with coffee in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of food hygiene and be health and safety focused
Knowledge of Italian food and beverage
Excellent customer service skills, remain calm under pressure and take initiative
Strong organisational skills, work efficiently and be detail orientated
Good interpersonal skills and be well presented
The ability to be reactive and flexible
