About the Role
Royal Mail is looking for a seasoned Programme Test Manager to lead testing and quality assurance for our PDA platform programmes. You’ll oversee all testing phases across complex, multi-project programmes (up to £50m), ensuring solutions are robust, reliable, and deployment-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end testing (Unit to Pre-Production) across large-scale programmes
Define test strategies and ensure risk-based coverage
Manage test teams (0–30+), budgets, and recruitment
Align with suppliers and internal teams on test scope and execution
Select and implement test tools and automation frameworks
Ensure architectural validation and release readiness
Promote Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in programme-level test management
Strong technical knowledge (Azure, APIs, mobile, databases)
Hands-on with automation tools (SpecFlow, Gherkin, C#)
Skilled in Jira, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines
Agile certifications and ISTQB/ISEB preferred
Degree in Computer Science or related field
