To become a delivery driver, you will need a valid UK driving licence, an iPhone or Android smartphone and a mid-size vehicle with 5 seats or larger. You will also need a UK National Insurance Number, proof of your Right to Work in the UK, commercial vehicle insurance (also referred to as hire and reward insurance) and to pass a background and criminal record check which includes, but is not limited to, a review of driving licence records.
No previous experience as a transportation driver, truck or lorry driver, taxi driver, courier driver or delivery driver is necessary. Current Amazon employees are not eligible to be delivery partners.
