We are looking for a Strategic Capability Marketing Manager who will combine strong marketing expertise with broad investments knowledge to:

  • Develop clear marketing strategies for areas of allocated responsibility (top/middle of funnel), collaborating across key marketing stakeholders and across the business.
  • Ensure consistent co-ordination, planning and reporting framework in place for strategic priorities across marketing, with all team leads engaged and on board.
  • Deliver content plans for strategic priority areas.
  • Define core messages for strategic capabilities.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of campaign-related content.
  • Ensure a compelling client journey and experience from capabilities to product, driving commercial relevance and focusing marketing resources on the most effective areas of influence.
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with key investment teams and client coverage decision-makers.
  • Deliver creative and engaging content that resonates with clients to ensure cut-through.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Asset Management Marketing team in London and reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Capability and Thought Leadership Marketing based in London. The team leads the marketing strategy development on important global themes and ensures delivery of effective content in line with them. Aside from working within the global AM marketing team, you will also be collaborating with AM’s wider sales and investment teams.

Your expertise

  • 5-10+ years’ experience in marketing roles with asset managers.
  • Marketing degree or similar qualification preferable.
  • Proven expertise in producing exceptional B2B content with client impact, including dealing with senior business stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of managing campaigns and projects with tight timescales and multiple deliverables.
  • Good understanding of different communications channels and ability to take complex messages and produce compelling client communications.
  • Detailed knowledge of the asset management industry, asset classes, and products.
  • Understanding of the complex compliance requirements of the investment industry.
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and valuing diverse perspectives.
  • Fluent English language skills, verbal and written.
