Our client, a highly selective and internationally renowned asset manager, is looking to bolster its European equities team in London with the addition of an equity analyst to cover a book of European Equities as a sector generalist.
The role represents an excellent opportunity for top-performing equity research analysts to transition into a dynamic, fast-moving fund known for its meritocratic culture and deep commitment to intellectual rigour. From day one, you\'ll collaborate closely with and report to senior leadership, and gain direct exposure to some of the industry’s most respected fund managers across both long only, and long short strategies.

Role Responsibilities
- Conduct bottom-up fundamental analysis of European companies
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuations
- Monitor market developments, industry trends, and company news
- Prepare investment memos and research reports to support portfolio decisions
- Collaborate closely with senior analysts and portfolio managers
- Participate in meetings with company management teams and industry experts
Role Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in equity research (buy side or sell side).Sell-side candidates should currently work for a top-ranked bulge-bracket equity research team
- Sector specialists are welcome to apply .The team member you will be working with previously covered industrials for a US bulge .
- Exceptional academic background , ideally in finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline, at a top-ranked institution.
- Progress toward theCFA designation isstrongly preferred
- Evidence of proactive interest in investing , such as maintaining a personal or virtual portfolio or reading widely on investment topics
- Fluency in one or more European languages isrequired
- International experience (study, travel, or professional) is a plus
