Are you an experienced technology leader ready to drive innovation in a dynamic and fast-growing investment environment? Our client, a value-oriented investment fund managing approximately $8 billion in assets, is seeking a Head of Technology to shape and execute its strategic technology roadmap.
As the Head of Technology, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading technology evolution. You’ll develop and implement innovative solutions to support investment research, trading, fund accounting, compliance, and operational processes. By fostering a collaborative and agile environment, you’ll enhance efficiency, ensure compliance, and empower teams across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the firm\’s technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and inspire a high-performing technology team and external providers.
- Oversee the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective investments.
Infrastructure & Security
- Optimize and secure technology infrastructure, collaborating with an MSP for core services.
- Maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Applications & Data
- Enhance data management and governance strategies to support analytics and reporting.
- Drive application integration to meet the needs of trading, operations, and compliance teams.
- Develop and oversee advanced data analytics frameworks, including AI and generative tools.
- Stay ahead of technology trends, leveraging emerging tools for competitive advantage.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and negotiate optimal contracts.
