A city based investment management house has ambitious plans for the new year and is bolstering their sales team across all levels. On the back of these plans, two new roles have been created for junior sales professionals to join the team as business development associates. This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently started a career in sales and wants to move into a dynamic and rapidly expanding investment house.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the external BDMs, offering ongoing support and management to their clients (current and prospective).
  • Liaising with internal and external parties to ensure effective communication relating to inbound contact, requests for literature, investor information, and any other communications including processing investor application forms, mailouts, and certificates.
  • Handling telephone queries from financial intermediaries and investors and actioning as appropriate.
  • Responsibility for helping to increase fundraising through proactive measures such as cold calling to arrange meetings and any initiatives agreed with the Head of Business Development.
  • Attending roadshows and events alongside the BDM and acting as an ambassador for the investments business.
  • Working closely with the nascent Client Services function and Marketing team to effectively support the BDMs.
  • Supporting the Business Development team with any client relations tasks as appropriate.
