We report on client wins, major deals, high-stakes cases, legal tech developments and the strategic moves shaping the legal market. Our mission is to deliver sharp, accessible and engaging journalism that modern lawyers actually want to read.
Alongside our editorial output, we work with leading law firms, legal tech companies and education providers on commercial partnerships, campaigns and sponsored content. We’re looking for a commercially-minded and proactive Business Development Manager to join Non-Billable full-time. This is a key role focused on building and maintaining our commercial pipeline.
You’ll be responsible for identifying potential partners, reaching out to new prospects and creating opportunities for collaboration across our core offerings, including sponsored content, campaigns and content hubs. You’ll work closely with the founder to drive revenue growth, helping to shape and develop partnerships from first contact through to deal execution. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys outbound business development, is comfortable speaking to senior stakeholders and wants to play a central role in scaling a fast-growing media brand.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of commercial opportunities across companies seeking access to legal professionals
- Lead outbound activity, including email and LinkedIn outreach, to generate new conversations
- Support the development and execution of commercial partnerships and campaigns
- Manage and track leads through a CRM, ensuring strong organisation and follow-up
- Maintain relationships with existing partners and identify opportunities for repeat business
- Work closely with the founder to refine Non-Billable’s commercial offering and approach
Based in the UK, with the ability to travel to London for regular in-person meetings.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, sales or partnerships. Experience in B2B media sales, events, legal recruitment, or legal tech is strongly preferred. Comfortable with outbound outreach and proactive in generating new opportunities. Confident speaking to senior stakeholders and representing the Non-Billable brand. An interest in the legal sector, media or professional services.
