Nomura seeks to recruit an Associate level professional to work in the Global Markets Equities team. They will work on the newly launched Central Risk book. The role focuses on risk monitoring and management of the book, quantitative modelling linked to risk optimization, flow profitability profiling and optimal execution. By performing these job duties, they will need to learn the principles and concepts of corporate finance, valuation, capital structure, financial modelling, and quantitative analysis.
- Experience in cash equities trading and risk management
- Familiarity with factor modelling and risk optimisation
- Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and ability to think critically
- Strong programming skills, ideally in Python and a familiarity with KDB/q
- MBA or MS in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Financial Engineering or a related field
- Overall interest and understanding of the financial industry, finance related quantitative products and trading technology
