The SABRE function oversees operational transformation on strategically important, mission critical projects to support Nomura's business strategy.

We are looking for a project manager who will be aligned to strategic transformation programs within the department to manage complex front-to-back change initiatives and digital transformation projects. The role would involve:

  • Project managing business and technology transformation programs
  • Managing cross-functional project teams and stakeholder relationships
  • Overseeing project planning, execution, and risk management
  • Establishing governance frameworks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines
  • Driving benefits realization and continuous improvement
  • Data management, Settlement, Network Management and Regulatory reporting

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Experience in operations or handling change in investment banking operations
  • Exposure to regulatory / reconciliation / settlement / reference data applications
  • Sound understanding of financial products including Derivatives, Corporate Bonds, Converts, Loans, Swaps, Equities and their Trade Life Cycle
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of financial market regulations and control frameworks
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into business solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Technology, or related)
  • Professional certifications (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2), if any
