Nomura's Global Markets Division handles client transactions for financial institutions, corporates, governments and investment funds around the world. We act as market makers, trading in fixed income including currencies, interest rates and credit in cash, derivatives and structured products. We have taken market-leading positions across the globe by leveraging the strength of our talent, client relationships and technology.
Specialist sales role covering institutional clients in the UK. Build flow credit franchise with UK institutional client base including asset managers, hedge funds and other institutional clients. Product scope is Asia and CEEMEA credit and other products/markets which may be added in future.
- Writing daily market commentaries, generating trade ideas and executing trading desk axes.
- Arranging frequent client marketing initiatives (e.g. research and trading roadshows).
- Providing support and back up coverage to other sales people.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Passion for global markets and Emerging Markets in particular.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think quickly and multi-task.
- Ability to acquire, build, and maintain relationships with clients.
- Ability to independently research ideas and market opportunities.
- Capable of creating close relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of regulatory environment.
