We are looking to hire a trader to join the Delta One trading team, with a focus on Index pricing, hedging, optimisation and workflow development. The role sits on the trading desk and is intended for someone who combines strong market understanding with an interest in improving trading workflows, execution quality and risk management. The successful candidate will work alongside other Equity traders and partner closely with Sales, Technology, Quants, Operations, Compliance and other support functions to help grow the Delta One franchise. This is a hands‑on role in a build environment, offering broad exposure to client flow, interdealer market, pricing, hedging, trading infrastructure and product development across the Prime Delta One ecosystem.

  • Provide liquidity to the firm’s clients across Delta One products, and partner with Sales to assess client activity, client needs and commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure active presence in the interdealer market to support pricing, execution and market intelligence.
  • Contribute to the expansion of the platform by helping improve trading workflows, product capabilities and the end-to-end trading lifecycle.
  • Analyse pricing, hedge efficiency, execution quality and resource usage to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to the predefined Delta One risk framework.
  • Support the build‑out of tools, controls and infrastructure to improve quoting, hedging, execution and post‑trade workflows.
  • Work closely with Technology, Quant and support teams to translate business needs into practical solutions for the desk.
  • Help identify market, product and competitor developments relevant to the Delta One business.
  • Participate actively in day‑to‑day discussions around trading, risk, execution and platform development.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

  • Prior experience in Trading with exposure to Delta One, Index products and market‑making strategies.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, hedging and execution workflows.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fluid environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills; coding ability to support desk tools would be beneficial.
  • Solid work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to learn in a build‑oriented platform.
  • Highly motivated, with a strong desire to learn the business and new technologies.
