The Business Management Office team delivers a spectrum of functions underpinning the EMEA Operations division. These range from financial analysis and departmental strategy to executive support, branding and communications and business continuity. Key elements of the portfolio include:
- Financial management & reporting (budgets / allocations, investment spend, cost / benefits tracking)
- Providing a central voice within Operations to help define our strategy and deliver on our objectives
- Design and delivery of business continuity plans for onshore and offshore offices
- Development of branding and communications strategies within Operations and to wider stakeholder groups
- Oversight of both experienced hiring and graduate / apprentice programmes
Role description:
- Support the EMEA Business Manager
- Contribute to the production of key financial management information, weekly and monthly performance analysis, including explanations for variances and tracking of P&L to plan
- Lead reporting activities, including monthly reporting to Committees, annual budgets, business plans and cost reviews
- Perform regular reviews of purchase / spend requests for adherence to budget
- Participate in deep dives on key themes and trends to bring topics to governance as needed
- Help in Change initiatives that will drive the EMEA and Global Business forward
- Manage a portfolio of projects ranging from quick tasks such as pulling a headcount report to longer term strategic initiatives
- Monitor workforce plan, including hiring pipeline vs budget, joiner/leaver process in coordination with HR
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, including Global Business Unit Lead and Regional department head
- Collaborate with the India Shared services team to oversee Operational processes performed offshore
- Oversee vendor and sourcing process e.g. controlling costs, reducing vendor related risks and ensuring service delivery
- Continued development and delivery of regional business continuity plans covering a variety of scenarios affecting teams based in London and in Mumbai, India
- Ensure group compliance for mandatory training, appraisals etc
- Support for administration of the EMEA Operations divisions and its employees

- Ability to decipher, analyse and model financial data which can be used as a basis to deliver management reporting to senior audiences, ensuring key messages are understood and can be acted upon
- Capacity to work across a wide range of areas and balance workloads across multiple projects

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Execution – Detail‑oriented and structured in approach to prioritization, analysis, planning and reporting; Able to multi‑task, manage multiple projects and work under pressure to deliver high‑quality outcomes

- Stakeholder Management – Team player with good communication skills, able to work effectively with team members of all levels across regions and time zones
- Financial Management – Experience with forecasting and budgeting; confident with concepts of Cash, P&L, Capitalisation and Accruals; Ability to analyze and present financial reports
- Analysis and Process Improvement – Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Tools – Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills (ability to actively adjust it depending on the recipient)
