Department Overview

Nomura International plc maintains a comprehensive business resilience programme so that it can continue operations in the event of any emergency scenario. The plan involves all business lines, is updated quarterly and tested regularly including business recovery and comprehensive crisis management scenarios. The team is also responsible for third party continuity, operational resilience including DORA, operational continuity in resolution (OCIR) and supporting the EMEA offices with their business resilience activities.

Overview:

The team is looking for someone to cover maternity leave for 12 months.

Role description

  • Liaison with departmental / office business resilience representatives to conduct regular business resilience tasks e.g. updating plans, reviewing business impact analyses, organising recovery site testing, staff notification tests, crisis management briefings / exercises
  • Co-ordination of third party continuity assessments and review of exit plans

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Good project management and analytical skills
