Programme overview
Programme Dates: 5th April - 6th April 2026
If you are an ambitious, high achieving candidate in your first year of university or second year of a four-year course (graduating in 2029), and would like a unique insight into the exciting career opportunities at a leading global investment bank, then you should apply to our two-day Explore Nomura Programme.
Challenge yourself by increasing your exposure to one of our two divisions: Investment Banking or Global Markets, where you will have the chance to experience some of the most important business functions within an investment bank and understand the fundamental practices and principles of the business. You will gain real-life experience in a fast-paced environment; meet new people and develop a valuable network for career information and direct support.
The Explore Nomura Programme is a unique four day classroom based opportunity to gain an early insight into Investment Banking and the skills necessary for success. The Programme features desk shadowing, networking events and case study exercises. Through its focus on Investment Banking and Global Markets, you will have the chance to experience some of the most important business functions within an Investment Bank.
At the end of the Explore Programme you will have the opportunity to be fast-tracked to first round interviews for our 2027 Summer Internship Programme.
Please note, this programme will solely focus on our Investment Banking or Global Markets divisions. Corporate Infrastructure (Technology and Risk) will no longer be included. Please keep this in mind when applying.
What are we looking for?
