At NomosFIT, we provide bespoke legal solutions to our clients through our exceptional pool of senior lawyers, delivering strategic legal support in an efficient and flexible way. We are looking for an experienced investment funds lawyer for an interim engagement with a highly regarded legal services client connected to the wider professional services ecosystem.

This opportunity would suit a senior lawyer who is comfortable operating in a hands-on execution-heavy role, supporting a busy funds practice across a range of investment fund, asset management, and transactional matters. The work is likely to include supporting across international fund structuring and formation, regulatory and compliance matters, institutional investor work, pension fund-related matters, and broader corporate/transactional crossover.

Experience working closely with international clients, accountants, tax advisers, and other lawyers across complex structures would be particularly useful. Any of the following expertise would be valuable:

  • Investment funds, private funds, real estate funds, credit funds, infrastructure funds, or asset management
  • Fund structuring, formation, amendments, wind-ups, or ongoing fund advisory work
  • Familiarity with FCA/regulatory rules and guidance relating to investment funds or asset management
  • Institutional investor or pension fund-related work
  • International structuring, tax/compliance considerations and cross-border fund matters
  • Cayman, Channel Islands, and/or Bermuda fund structures
  • Corporate, M&A, joint venture, or warranty and indemnity insurance crossover

The ideal profile would probably bring a blend of private practice and in-house experience and this is likely to suit someone who enjoys technically interesting funds work and is happy to be close to the detail, rather than someone looking purely for a strategic GC-style advisory or oversight role.

The structure of the engagement is still being shaped and could potentially be full-time, although we are also open to exploring fractional solutions for the right match. If you're open to hearing more (or about similar opportunities via NomosFIT), please get in touch.
