At NomosFIT we provide bespoke legal solutions to our clients through our exceptional pool of senior lawyers, delivering strategic legal support in an efficient and flexible way. We partner with leading businesses, private equity firms and their portfolio companies, deploying high-calibre legal consultants on complex, business-critical engagements.

We are currently working with a well-regarded UK law firm that is looking to add corporate tax expertise to support a growing pipeline of transactional work across private equity, corporate and real estate matters. This opportunity is best-suited to experienced tax lawyers with strong deal exposure who are comfortable operating in fast-paced environments and can provide direct support on live transactions.

The focus will be firmly on pre-deal transactional tax, working closely with corporate and finance teams on matters including tax structuring, due diligence and the drafting and negotiation of key documentation. The firm is seeking lawyers who can acclimatise quickly, adding value from day one, bringing prior experience supporting M&A and private equity transactions in suitable environments. Exposure to sponsor-side work and familiarity with deal documentation would be particularly valuable.

This engagement is designed as a flexible and scalable resource, providing the ability to work on a fractional basis depending on deal flow. Typical volumes are expected to fluctuate between around 25 hours a month and 1-2 days per week depending on deal flow. The role can be performed largely remotely, and offers the opportunity to work alongside high-quality teams on complex, high-value transactions, with strong potential for repeat and ongoing work as pipeline activity continues to grow in future.
