We’re looking for a Software Developer / Tech Generalist to join our Platform Team as developer #3. We need someone who thrives on variety - you’ll jump from AWS infrastructure to no-code automations, from debugging Python backends to optimising customer workflows. If you prefer working on just one part of the stack, this isn’t the role for you. But if you love understanding how everything fits together, you’ll love it here.
The Team
At NOMOQ, we create real, physical products with digital printing technology that brings custom aluminium cans to life. Our software team builds the platform that makes it all possible, helping craft brewers and beverage brands turn creative ideas into stunning, ready-to-fill cans. Our web platform enables design uploads, collaboration, and order management, with smart automations to support the production team. We use no-code and low-code solutions for speed and flexibility, and also develop custom solutions when needed to create the perfect experience. Think of us as the bridge between the digital world of web orders and the physical world of manufacturing.
What you'll do:
- Own critical systems: As one of three developers, you’ll have real ownership over platform components – your decisions matter and your improvements ship to production quickly.
- Solve real problems: Every bug you fix and workflow you optimise directly helps craft brewers get their products to market. You’ll see the cans you helped create in stores.
- Master modern technologies: Deep-dive into a tech stack (AWS serverless, Odoo ERP, AI tools, no-code platforms) – knowledge that’s transferable and valuable.
- Work with AI daily: Use cutting-edge AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) as part of your regular workflow – stay ahead of how AI is changing development.
- Direct business impact: With our small team, you’ll work directly with leadership and see how your technical decisions affect business outcomes.
- Shape the future: While focusing on stability today, you’ll identify and document what needs to be built next – your insights will drive our technical roadmap.
- Learn the full picture: You’ll understand the entire platform – from customer order to printed can – unlike roles where you own only a tiny slice.
- Be a true generalist: Work across infrastructure, backend, integrations, and even no-code solutions when they’re the smart choice.
What we expect you to bring to the team:
- Troubleshooting mindset: you enjoy diving into issues, finding root causes and implementing reliable fixes.
- Platform thinking: you understand how different pieces of a system fit together and can trace issues across multiple services.
- Cloud computing experience: with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch) or similar platforms, plus understanding of serverless architectures.
- AI development skills: you actively use AI coding assistants to work more efficiently and can write effective prompts to get quality results.
- Experience with APIs and integrations: REST APIs, webhooks and keeping different systems talking to each other.
- No-code/low-code curiosity: either experience with tools like Airtable, Bubble, Make/Integromat OR excitement to learn them.
- Patience and attention to detail: you understand that maintaining production systems requires careful, methodical work.
- Ability to explain complicated technical concepts: and decisions to non-technical people.
- Engineering mindset: ability to quickly understand complex systems and propose solid solutions.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Odoo or other ERP systems
- Knowledge of e-commerce or manufacturing workflows
- Experience at an early-stage startup or scale-up
- Portfolio of personal projects or open-source contributions
Frontend: TypeScript, Webflow, Bubble
Backend: Python (Odoo), AWS Lambda, node.js
Infrastructure: AWS, GitLab CI/CD
No-Code/Low-Code: Make/Integromat, Bubble
AI Tools: ChatGPT/Claude, Cursor for development
Integrations: HubSpot, Airtable
Why us?

- Competitive salary aligned with your experience and impact
- Flexible working environment – choose your hours, work remotely or hybrid (Leamington UK or Kirchheimbolanden Germany)
- Personal and professional development – personal education budget for conferences and courses
