Nomo Bank: Now incorporating Nomo Bank – the world’s first fully digital Sharia-compliant cross border banking platform, its Middle East customers can access, via the Nomo app, a range of innovative, cutting-edge products and international banking services. These include current accounts, fixed term deposits, property finance, multi-currency services and international transfers.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up a contact strategy with a panel of brokers to develop relationships with them, get to know and understand their business and provide detailed and tailored information to intermediaries on Nomo's products and lending criteria.
  • Dealing and responding to enquiries from Brokers and Intermediaries and assessing their requirements and needs via email or telephone.
  • Achieve set targets through the development of both new and existing intermediary relationships within the scope of Nomo's current and day by day appetite for business.
  • Provide technical expertise to intermediaries on Nomo Mortgages' products and underwriting criteria and technical IT support to intermediaries and problem solve intermediary portal issues.
  • Attend and present at expositions, conferences, and seminars to raise Nomo's profile and drive mortgage growth & brand awareness.
  • Complete onboarding process for new brokers and registration to the broker portal.
  • Work collaboratively with all areas of the business.
  • Take full responsibility for regularly updating own knowledge on company products, processes, and procedures in order to provide the best information at all times.
  • Understand and keep up to date on Nomo's competitors' products.
  • Act in a compliant manner at all times in line with regulatory guidelines.
  • Support team members across sales and the whole business to meet service standards and achieve results.

Skills & Experience:

  • Vast experience within B2B business development / relationship management experience in real estate finance, wealth management, or retail banking.
  • Good understanding of retail banking products and business practices.
  • Creative and self-motivated individual with a passion for finding creative solutions to issues.
  • Confident communicator, both in-person and in written form, with professional presence and ability to effectively interface with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Demonstrable experience in building relationships, spotting opportunities and developing partnerships.
  • Highly analytical, able to quickly understand complex problems and come up with practical solutions.
  • Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, deal with ambiguity and operate in a dynamic, fast changing environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to navigate an energetic start-up environment.
  • Fluency in English (verbal & written), preferably Arabic language capability in order to truly penetrate that market.
  • Experience within GCC markets a must to take advantage of the potential opportunities in the market.
  • Can do attitude and active corporate citizen, always upholding the Bank’s PROUD values.
