Role Overview
You will design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure managed services cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our operations team you will optimise uptime, scale the platform as we grow new services, and maintain compliance with industry best practices and security baselines.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement best practice Microsoft Azure architectures.
- Build and troubleshoot containerised services with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Operate, monitor, and dashboard the entire IT stack using tools such as Salesforce, Netbox, Zabbix, and Grafana.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Azure architecture design.
- Strong cloud security knowledge.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Experience working with Linux.
- Excellent problem‑solving and technical documentation skills.
Desirable Skills
- Networking fundamentals (TCP, IP, OSI, VPN, BGP).
- Test‑driven development approach.

Job Specifics
- Location: Hybrid role – attending Basingstoke office.
- Hours: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑5:30, occasional evening or weekend work.
- Travel: UK travel, overnight stays, occasional international trips.
- Driving licence: Full UK driving licence required; attend customer sites across the UK.
