Our client, a highly successful Manufacturer based in Ballymena, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. Hours Monday to Friday, flexi time between 7am and 6pm. Salary Β£28,000 β Β£30,000 per annum. Location Ballymena β office based.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process payroll weekly and monthly.
- Monitor accounts receivable ledger to ensure payments are received and properly recorded.
- Follow up with customers on overdue accounts and resolve billing/payment discrepancies.
- Reconcile customer accounts and prepare aging reports.
- Apply cash receipts to customer accounts in accounting systems.
- Communicate with customers to address billing questions and provide account statements when necessary.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
- Experience with payroll processing weekly and monthly.
- Experience with credit insurance and dealing with external stakeholders such as banks.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Syteline).
