The role is Office based 4 days a week / 1 day working from home ( after training)

The Right Client- Nominate Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with a successful Publication company specializing in Policy and Business in Moira. They are now seeking a Journalist to join the team.

Essential criteria:

* A formal journalism qualification OR Recent journalism experience and strong news judgment, with the ability to work calmly under pressure

* A track record in delivering original journalism

* The ability to produce strong analytical material under tight deadlines

* Interview experience

* A highly motivated, self-starting attitude

* Strong proofreading skills and the ability to write clear, concise copy for multiple platforms

* An understanding of how audiences consume content

* A detailed knowledge of politics, current affairs, and public policy in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

A firm grasp of local government, strong digital skills and a track record of great ideas are essential for this role.

The position offers a salary scale of £28k- £30k with excellent personal and career development for the right candidate. xiskglj

Own transport is essential. The role will be primarily based in our Maghaberry office but will require work in Dublin on an ad-hoc basis
