Overview
As a Senior Project Buyer at Nomilk2day, you play a crucial role in purchasing materials, components, and services for water treatment and biogas projects.
Responsibilities
- Procure project materials with a focus on timely delivery.
- Improve delivery certainty, lead time, terms, and price‑quality ratio.
- Prepare and evaluate purchase contracts following the Total Cost of Ownership principle.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers in a mutually beneficial interest.
- Create overviews of product‑supplier combinations and outsourced capital goods.
- Advise on commercial product and supplier information.
- Report on KPIs and share insights with relevant internal departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a commercial field with an affinity for applied technology.
- At least 5 years of experience in a tactical and/or strategic purchasing function in a technical environment.
- Legally competent to prepare and evaluate purchase contracts.
- Good command of Dutch and English; knowledge of German, French, and/or Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with KPI reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership principles.
