We act as an extension of our customer’s procurement team by executing the end-to-end sourcing, supplier onboarding and contracting process for indirect categories of spend. As a Business Development Account Director, you will play a critical role in Nomia’s growth, responsible for driving new logo acquisition across our priority regions. This is a true hunter role — you’ll be knocking down doors, generating new opportunities, owning the full sales cycle, and closing deals that deliver real value to our customers. You’ll be supported by an experienced leadership team, a dedicated presales function, and best‑in‑class tools, with the opportunity to make a visible impact and accelerate your career as we scale globally.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospects across our key markets (UK, North America, UAE)
  • Own the full sales cycle — from lead generation and qualification to proposal and close
  • Generate and convert pipeline opportunities, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior decision-makers (C-level, VP, Director level)
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Presales, and Leadership teams to execute GTM strategies
  • Leverage presales support to help shape solution positioning and run successful sales engagements
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and maintain up-to-date CRM records to support reporting and planning
  • Represent Nomia at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Being a brand ambassador for Nomia, driving awareness and credibility in the market

Qualifications/Skills

  • 5+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, procurement tech, or enterprise software
  • Proven hunter mindset with the drive to open doors and close new business
  • Skilled at selling to C-suite and senior decision-makers, navigating complex sales cycles
  • Strong collaboration skills with presales and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communicator with a track record of exceeding revenue goals
  • Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments
  • Comfortable with remote selling across multiple geographies
  • Proficiency in CRM and opportunity management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of procurement, spend management, or supply chain technology
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or SPIN
  • Experience managing long consultative sales cycles (6+ months) with large ACV (£250K+) deals
