Nomia helps companies reduce cost, manage risk, and increase efficiency for non-strategic third-party spend. We act as an extension of our customer’s procurement team by executing the end-to-end sourcing, supplier onboarding and contracting process for indirect categories of spend.

We are focused on delivering an innovative and disruptive procurement solution to our customers to make managing non-strategic spend simpler, more transparent, and better value. We are a global team based in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Dubai, Poland, and the United States.

The Role: We’re looking for an AI Product Owner to lead the development of our AI strategy that includes the use of GenAI and agentic, data-driven experiences across Nomia’s platform. You will sit at the intersection of product, engineering, procurement strategy and the customer — building AI solutions that intelligently manage dynamic sourcing flows, sourcing tasks, onboarding processes, and drive real business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development of the AI product vision and deployment plan.
  • Working closely with the Director of Product to turn the vision into actionable goals.
  • Gather requirements into a backlog, and run AI sprints.
  • Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and other product documentation to guide the development team.
  • Partner with internal and external customers to gather and prioritise feedback against Nomia IP, customer value, etc.
  • Own the roadmap for AI development—prioritising use cases like supplier recommendation, compliance validation, and RFP automation, etc.
  • Track progress against the product roadmap, identify and mitigate risks, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure tools are used effectively to gain visibility and metrics on sprint efficiency and ensure constant improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the development team, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the development process.
  • Drive data integration strategies, helping structure how our AI consumes structured/unstructured data.
  • Measure success of AI products via performance metrics (automation rate, time-to-solve, user satisfaction, etc.) and ensure business case is measured.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Direct experience dealing with SaaS platforms in the procurement industry focusing on scalable, AI-driven solutions.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and inference workflows from a user experience perspective.
  • Interaction with AI technology training and iteration from MVP to fully autonomous and self-learning.
  • Track record for delivering AI solutions related to dynamic sourcing, supplier matching, categorisation and tagging, and procurement-centric workflows.
  • Experience defining product requirements and user stories for AI/ML-powered features.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A bias for experimentation, iteration, and user-first design.

General Information:

  • Adhere to Nomia’s data protection and information security policies at all times.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in line with Nomia’s core values.
  • This is a hybrid role, with two office days per week required, potentially more during training or as requested by your supervisor.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in systems and processes.
  • Please note that this role description is a guideline, and duties may evolve over time.
