The caretaker will undertake high-standard caretaking activities across Medway housing properties. Responsibilities include cleaning, repairs and maintenance in line with safety, quality and cost control standards. The role is field-based and involves proactive management of preventive maintenance (PPM), safety compliance, fire risk assessments, seasonal upkeep and safety checks.
Contract: Permanent, full time, 42.5 hours per week.
Salary: £28,737.55 per annum plus company van and fuel card.
Requirements:
- Experience in caretaking or cleaning
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to use a PDA following training
- Eligibility to drive a company vehicle: minimum age 21, licence held for over 3 months, and less than 9 points
