OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Assistant Director of Sales role reports to The Commercial Director. The key purpose of this role is to focus on Consortia partnerships to achieve annual budgeted revenue goals and ADR targets for this segment. The candidate will maximise all revenue opportunities in the areas of Consortia travel and will interact frequently with guests and customers with the intention of earning repeat and expanded business.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate all current partnerships for performance and opportunity and present this to The Commercial Director.
  • Create annual and quarterly sales action plans for the Consortia segment.
  • Create weekly sales action plan report for distribution.
  • Research and find 5 new Partnership opportunities to present to the CD annually.
  • Create annual calendars of offers with activation dates to deploy.
  • Work closely with Reservation team to ensure all Consortia partner rates are correctly loaded and confirmed with partners.
  • Work closely with Hilton HWS luxury leisure sales teams and have regular quarterly meetings.
  • Attend Consortia tradeshows, sales missions and individually arranged sales trips as outlined in the Commercial plan.
  • Ensure that all data is recorded in Salesforce for all meetings with activities logged and follow up noted.
  • Complete a post sales trip evaluation and sales trip report up to two working weeks after return to work.
  • Assist in writing a Consortia plan to achieve annual budgeted plan.
  • Assist in weekly and monthly reporting as required.
  • Receive and convert incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximise revenue.
  • Attend client entertainment events where required.
