  • OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper, the Senior Housekeeper is an integral part of the housekeeping operations.

Liaising closely with all hotel departments, the Senior Housekeeper will both lead and inspire others, to ensure the delivery of timeless and authentic service.

As part of Housekeeping Management team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a friendly, attentive, and caring environment for the team and guests.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities of the Senior Housekeeper are summarised below, the list is not exhaustive:

  • Performing all duties with care, sense of responsibility and positive attitude, ensuring team is energized and feel looked after

Overlooking all areas of daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly including Rooms, Public Areas, Laundry

  • Giving daily feedback to team, bringing up any areas of concern as well as positive feedback to management
  • Constantly looking for improvements within the team, operations, tools, and all areas
  • Opening shifts and acting as coordinator, passing messages, dealing with, and assigning guest requests

Inspecting rooms throughout the day, maintaining high 5* standards in cleanliness and service

  • Communicating with Maintenance regarding rooms quality, reporting jobs, blocking Perfect Room Programme rooms, and prioritising those accordingly
  • Communicating effectively with all departments
  • Attending relevant meetings in absence of Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper
  • Perform all duties with care towards our guests and colleagues always ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Interact with guests in a caring, respective, and positive manner as well as dealing with any issues or complaints that may arise
  • Always follow H&S and Standard Operating Procedures
