THE ROLE
The role of the Commis Chef is to successfully run a section a part of the kitchen brigade.Ideal commis chef candidate should have the following:
- Experience cooking and preparing high quality dishes
- Assisting in food rotation and restocking
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
- Experience with kitchen equipment
- Understanding of basic food safety practices
- Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
- Positive and approachable manner and team player
