About the Role
You’ll lead the delivery of RDQ activities from concept through to launch, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, legality, sensory performance and quality. You’ll manage in‑market product quality, oversee complaints and incident responses, and deliver quality improvement plans. You’ll also represent Nomad Foods externally, monitoring regulatory trends and championing our food culture internally.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all RDQ Go‑To‑Market activities for your segment are delivered on time, in full, and regulatory compliant.
- Own in‑market product quality, tracking complaints, leading incident responses and driving quality improvements.
- Lead Lift & Launch projects and deliver end‑to‑end management of local portfolio projects through development, launch and post‑launch review.
- Act as an RDQ advocate externally with food authorities and industry bodies.
- Share local insights and emerging trends with Segment, COE and FSQR teams.
- Champion Nomad Foods’ nutritional, sensory and quality superiority.
- Supervise and support your team with day‑to‑day guidance, performance input and development coaching.
About You
- Degree‑qualified in a technical field such as Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Biology or Physics.
- Significant technical, quality or product development experience within the Food & Drink industry.
- Demonstrated success in food innovation or food quality management.
- Skilled in managing projects, evaluating risk and ensuring compliance.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and sensory/quality drivers.
- Experience in rapid prototyping, concept development or quality improvement programmes.
- Able to work credibly with senior leaders and represent the business externally.
- Proficient in English and relevant business languages for the region.
