We have an exceptional opportunity for a Head of Technology Risk to join Nomad Foods at a pivotal time in our transformation journey. In this senior leadership role, you will define and lead our global technology risk strategy, ensuring the safe and effective management of risks across IT, digital platforms, cyber security, data and third-party ecosystems across our international business.
This is a highly visible role where you will partner with senior leadership and play a critical part in enabling innovation while protecting the organisation. You will shape how risk is understood, managed and embedded across our technology landscape, supporting business growth across 22 markets.
Responsibilities
- Defining and delivering a best-in-class technology risk strategy aligned to business and transformation priorities
- Leading the end-to-end technology risk lifecycle including identification, assessment and mitigation
- Establishing clear governance frameworks, controls and risk appetite models
- Providing oversight across technology, cyber security and digital risk areas
- Delivering insightful and impactful reporting to senior stakeholders and board level committees
- Translating complex technology risks into clear business implications and actions
- Embedding risk by design into transformation programmes and emerging technology adoption
- Partnering closely with CIO, CISO and business leaders to influence decision making
- Leading audits, driving remediation activity and ensuring strong control environments
- Building and leading a high performing team while fostering a strong risk aware culture
About you
You are a strategic and forward-thinking technology risk leader who thrives in a fast paced, evolving environment. You are confident influencing at senior levels and able to balance risk management with enabling innovation and growth. You bring strong technical expertise combined with excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills. You are naturally collaborative, commercially aware and passionate about driving continuous improvement across complex organisations.
What you will bring
- Significant experience in technology risk, IT risk, cyber risk or audit within complex enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of risk frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001 or COBIT
- Proven ability to design and implement governance frameworks and control environments
- Experience advising senior stakeholders and influencing at executive level
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate risk into business impact
- Experience leading teams and driving high performance through others
- A proactive, delivery focused approach with strong problem-solving capability
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across business and technology functions
Desirable experience includes exposure to FMCG environments, SAP security or governance frameworks, and large scale transformation or integration programmes.
