We are currently recruiting for a Group Logistics Finance Analyst to join our team playing a key role in our daily finance operations. You will be working alongside a talented, like-minded team for some of Europe’s largest frozen food brands including Birdseye, Aunt Bessie, Findus and Goodfella pizzas.

About the role

The Logistics Finance Analyst supports the consolidation, tracking, and analysis of total-company logistics costs across multiple markets. The role focuses on monitoring performance across logistics cost centres, helping to explain variances, and providing clear insights to support decision making.

Working closely with the Group Logistics Finance Manager, the analyst contributes to monthly close activities, Latest View submissions, and ongoing financial reporting. The role also supports logistics projects by providing financial analysis and maintains strong financial controls to ensure accuracy and reliability of data in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the monthly tracking and analysis of logistics KPIs, including comparison to budget and prior year
  • Assist in comparing logistics costs across markets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Support the consolidation of logistics cost forecasts across markets and functions
  • Contribute to month-end close activities, including variance analysis and cost centre reviews
  • Prepare clear and concise commentary to explain financial performance and key drivers
  • Assist in the preparation of Latest View (LV) submissions, ensuring data is accurate and complete
  • Maintain and update forecasting files, models, and assumptions
  • Support cost-saving initiatives by providing financial analysis on logistics direct and indirect costs
  • Perform routine financial checks and controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance

About you

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain finance related fields
  • Experience with planning systems and reporting technology
  • SAP
  • Positive attitude, pro-active, growth mindset, work to solve problems
  • Excellent communication and written skills with the ability to engage and influence people at all levels both internal and external
  • Ability to constructively challenge assumptions and thinking
  • Impactful report writing and presentation skills
  • Previous Finance experience within an FMCG business
  • Very strong analytical and forecasting abilities
  • Strong modelling and solid database skills required
