Reporting to the Group Reporting Systems Manager, you will assist in ensuring the smooth operation of Nomad Foods' SAP BPC group consolidation reporting systems and processes. The role involves supporting system and reporting improvements for the wider Finance community. Daily management of Nomad’s SAP BPC group reporting and consolidation system (BPC FC), performing BPC-related SOX controls, developing system and report/input forms, updating training materials, and delivering end-user training. You should have a good understanding of SAP BPC and AFO-EPM for MS Excel, supporting the finance community with system functionality aligned to user and business needs. Collaboration with Group IT and third-party suppliers on IT matters affecting group reporting is also required.
Responsibilities
- Manage reporting cycles using BPFs, revising and enhancing as needed.
- Manage BPC security to ensure authorized access.
- Analyze and improve internal business processes in collaboration with the Group Finance team.
- Participate in implementing upgrades, new functionalities, and system-wide changes.
- Design, test, and roll out related systems and interfaces.
- Maintain and develop Excel AFO-EPM reports and input forms.
- Troubleshoot system and reporting issues, including data mismatches.
- Manage BPC master data, including chart of accounts and reporting hierarchy.
- Document finance system processes and guidelines.
- Support ad hoc projects and testing of new systems.
- Provide end-user training and maintain documentation.
Accountabilities
- Ensure the group reporting system (BPC FC) functions correctly and securely.
- Perform controls related to group reporting systems on time and accurately.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience with accounting/finance systems.
- Hands-on experience with BPC as a technical/functional analyst or super user.
- Skills in AFO-EPM reporting, BPF configuration, and BPC business rules.
- Knowledge of financial statements and IFRS accounting practices.
- Understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of SAP BW, SAP ECC FI-GL, CO-PA, S4 Hana, and Group Reporting.
- Experience with SAP S4Hana, BPC script logic, and involvement in system implementation projects.
- Knowledge of process mapping and audit controls, with SOX experience preferred.
