We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Finance Manager to join our team playing a key role in our daily finance operations. You will be working alongside a talented, like-minded team for some of Europe's largest frozen food brands including Birdseye, Aunt Bessie, Findus and Goodfella pizzas.

The Private Label Finance Manager plays a critical role in driving the financial performance of the private label (own-brand) portfolio. This position partners closely with commercial, sourcing, and supply chain teams to lead the financial insight and challenge of private label tenders and contracts ensuring robust, insight driven business cases that maximise profitability, optimise costs, and support strategic growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with commercial, category, sourcing, and supply chain teams to drive new private label contracts
  • Provide financial insight and challenge to support the company's private label strategy
  • Influence stakeholders to drive profitable growth and cost efficiency
  • Lead the financial evaluation of private label tenders (RFQs), with commercial counterparts to evaluate pricing, cost modelling and profitability assessment
  • Develop robust, decision ready business cases with scenario and sensitivity analysis as required
  • Provide independent challenge to assumptions on pricing, volumes and costs, helping to evaluate trade-offs (volume vs margin, product materials, etc)
  • Track post-award performance vs business case
  • Support the insourcing agenda, working with sites to seek out opportunities and validate financials
  • Support across wider Supply Chain Finance improvement initiatives

About you

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain finance related fields
  • Advanced financial modelling, including tender / bid modelling
  • Very strong analytical and forecasting abilities
  • Experience with planning systems and reporting technology
  • SAP
  • Positive attitude, pro-active, growth mindset, work to solve problems
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and written skills with the ability to engage and influence people at all levels both internally and externally
  • Ability to constructively challenge assumptions and thinking
  • Impactful report writing and presentation skills

Desirable

  • Previous Finance experience within an FMCG business
  • Strong commercial acumen and private label experience
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
