Overview
Nomad Foods was formed in 2015 and with revenues of €2.6bn is the largest frozen food company in Europe. Nomad owns a portfolio of leading brands including Birds Eye, Findus and iglo, supplemented in 2018 with the purchase of Goodfellas Pizza and Aunt Bessie’s, and in 2021 with the purchase of Ledo and Frikom.
We manufacture and distribute a range of branded frozen food products across 22 European countries with the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Sweden and France representing our five largest markets.

Our Cluster Analysts are responsible for supporting Month End, reporting and analytics for our business units and central functions, including standard management reporting. The Cluster Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical standards for reporting KPIs and as a key financial liaison, partnering with the various departments across the business unit. Supporting both MU and SU across the Cluster.
Responsibilities
- Complete the monthly close of management accounts, including the involvement in the preparation of monthly data reporting packages that includes analysis of KPIs, variance analysis and explanations, preparation and posting of necessary accruals and journals
- Responsible for providing weekly calculation and variance analysis of key metrics of the manufacturing site including but not limited to production volumes, labour costs, recoveries, fixed costs and transfer prices and their impact on the financial statement
- Responsible for assimilating data from multiple systems and stakeholders to identify trends for KPIs, actuals, budgets and forecasts
- Support the Cluster Accountant with analysis and variance analysis, which includes developing recommendations for leadership and finance business partners (FBP)
- Enhance data governance processes by improving the quality and integrity of data collected, analysis performed, and reports generated
- Involvement in running simulations of various “what-if” scenarios using insight and critical thinking to evaluate and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with Cluster Accountant to classify, quantify, Month End actuals by providing reliable, accurate, comparable, and timely information
- Maintain and produce standard quarterly performance analytics and reports for leadership with guidance from Cluster Accountant
- Facilitate standardisation and sharing of best practice across the Shared Finance team
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Support automation and enterprise consolidation of data used in monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports
Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum3 years of relevant experience in, reporting and forecasting
- Previous Finance experience within an FMCG business
- Experience with ERP systems and reporting technology
- Experience with business intelligence tools and developing data visualisations
- Positive attitude, pro-active, growth mindset, work to solve problems
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and written skills with the ability to engage people at all levels both internally and externally
- Ability to constructively challenges assumptions and thinking
- Impactful report writing and presentation skills
Desirable
- Bachelor’s degree
- Part qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or international equivalent). Expected to be at finalist stage
- Very strong analytical and ME abilities
- Solid database skills required
