About the role
Data Governance & Master Analyst reporting to the Data & Analytics Director. You will help establish a new Data Governance service across Nomad Foods, ensuring data is secure, accurate, timely and consistent. Stakeholder management is key; you will liaise with Data Stewards, Owners and business partners to manage master data and support organisational data quality initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in establishing a data governance framework.
- Prepare the Data Governance Board on a regular basis.
- Monitor & action data quality measures following implementation of a Data Quality tool.
- Work with Data Owners and Data Stewards to manage data.
- Implement & monitor data controls, including data export.
- Centralise & manage data definitions.
- Define Data Policies & Standards, covering data storage, retention and unstructured data.
- Support the development & rollout of a Data Literacy programme.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with policies.
- Partner with business & third‑party stakeholders on data security & compliance requirements.
About you – qualifications
- Experience working in a data team.
- Experience working with SAP.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Collaborative and able to challenge constructively, gaining stakeholder support and delivering results through others.
- Problem‑solving: able to identify root causes and pursue effective solutions, asking the right questions and driving completion.
