Overview
PURPOSE & IMPACT: This role is known for supporting in the developing of best-in-class, 360 campaigns for all Nomad Foods’ (Global and local) brands across all segments and growth platforms. Will assist in the end-to-end management from best in class briefing through to final delivery, inclusive of all creative development and production. A junior strategic partner to the Portfolio and local MU marketing teams – coming with brand and communication mindset and experience.
We need someone who:
- Has experience of campaign development.
- Understands how best in class brands are built/grown.
- Is channel agnostic with production experience across some if not all of TV, Digital, Social etc.
- Has experience of stakeholder management, able to manage multiple viewpoints with grace, charm and humility.
- Able to liaise and influence.
- Has briefing experience, project management skills, and is detail oriented.
- A real doer: able to work at pace, with a bias for action and can-do attitude.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, self-starter – keen to develop and learn from more senior team members.
Responsibilities
- End to end campaign management.
- Support in the development of all communications associated to priority segments and products (e.g. Fish, Veg, Plant Protein) and growth platforms (e.g. Chicken, Potatoes and Pizza) to meet markets’ needs.
- Contribute to composing best in class communication briefs in partnership with Portfolio team, local MUs and Insights to ensure comms briefs effectively communicate business and brand objectives and strategy.
- Able to foster good relationships with agency teams – to create a positive ‘one-team’ dynamic between media, creative and production and ensure joined up thinking.
- Shows an interest and appreciation for big ideas and brave creative work.
- Support in omni-channel production delivery of campaigns, always striving for superior craft.
- Detail oriented and happy to get stuck into the project management requirements (less glamorous) side of production – timing plans, product delivery, market matrices etc.
- Collaborative by nature, being exemplary in the One Nomad ways of working – naturally able to balance the complexities of the matrix model, local and global needs, in service of the best possible work for all.
- Brand & Communications consultancy/expertise:
- Trusted by the rest of the business, able to offer a brand perspective in business decisions.
- Junior partnership to the Portfolio team and local MUs offering brand and communication expertise in service to their specific needs.
- A real interest and appreciation of best in class comms/brand building, able to bring the outside in – sharing trends in communications that could beneficially impact projects or teams within Nomad Foods.
- Always striving to learn and apply best practice and ways of working.
- Brand Guardianship:
- Support in the development of clear brand identities for Global and Local brands, ensuring all brand assets are used consistently and persistently across all channels.
- Responsible for the compilation of competitor and brand reviews.
- Build strong relationships with more junior members of the portfolio and Shopper teams to ensure joined up thinking between the teams – ensuring consumer experience and brand equity/identity irrespective of channel – packaging, shopper etc.
- Help to ensure the creative look and feel of central campaigns is in accordance with brand guidelines and overarching Nomad Foods marketing/brand strategy.
- Partner the legal team to ensure we have well protected brand and campaign assets.
- Quality execution:
- Copy quality/business building creative work - effectiveness across channels and MUs – that performs well in qualitative and quantitative research where relevant.
- Consistent brand identity (Equity):
- Consistent and persistent use of brand assets across campaigns, channels and MUs.
- Ensures delivery:
- Enables cross functional teams and multiple agency partners to deliverables on time - manage timelines and communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience of campaign development, working with stakeholders and agencies to achieve positive results.
- Exposure to insights to inform creative development.
- Production experience – able to talk eloquently about previous experiences.
- Strong operational skills, creative and critical thinking, attention to detail, can-do attitude/tenacious.
- Agency experience ideal but not essential.
