PURPOSE & IMPACT

Nomad Foods is transforming its commercial capabilities through the deployment of best-in-class commercial technology, analytics and business processes across Europe.

The Head of Commercial Analytics is responsible for leading the strategy, governance, operating model and adoption of commercial systems and analytics capabilities that enable superior commercial decision-making and execution across all markets.

The role leads a team of Commercial Product Owners and analysts responsible for Trade Promotion Management (Exceedra), Sales CRM and associated commercial capabilities.

The role ensures systems, data, processes and governance operate effectively across markets while driving standardisation, adoption and continuous improvement.

For this fixed-term assignment, the key objective is to establish the systems, team structure, governance and processes that enable Exceedra to operate sustainably across all live markets without requiring in-market implant resources from January 2027.

The role will accelerate market adoption and capability maturity, ensuring Exceedra becomes the system of record for promotion planning and trade investment management across Nomad Foods markets.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial Systems Leadership
  • Lead the Commercial Analytics function and provide direction to Commercial Product Owners and supporting resources.
  • Define and execute the vision, roadmap and operating model for key commercial systems including Exceedra and Sales CRM.
  • Ensure commercial technology investments support Nomad Foods' strategic and financial objectives.
  • Establish effective governance, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement processes across the commercial systems portfolio.
  • Partner with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, IT and Transformation teams to drive value creation from commercial technology investments.
  • Exceedra Transformation & Adoption
  • Deliver the Exceedra adoption roadmap across European markets
  • Establish the processes, support model and organisational capability required to remove dependency on market implant resources by January 2027
  • Drive adoption of key Exceedra capabilities including promotional planning, cash-up management, IBP integration and reporting
  • Lead deployment activities and change management programmes across all participating markets
  • Ensure system enhancements are prioritised and delivered to maximise business value
  • Specific FTC Deliverables
  • Deliver successful Exceedra go-live for Portugal by October 2026
  • Achieve full utilisation of Exceedra capabilities in Belgium and Netherlands by the end of Q3
  • Develop and deploy Nordic banner functionality (subject to technical feasibility) enabling the Nordics to use Exceedra as the single system of record for promotional planning
  • Define and implement a sustainable support and governance model enabling all live markets to operate independently
  • Governance, Process & Data Excellence
  • Define global standards for commercial processes, data governance and system utilisation
  • Lead governance forums to prioritise enhancements and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ensure adherence to data quality, reporting and process standards
  • Measure adoption, user engagement and business outcomes and implement corrective actions where required
  • Leadership & Capability Building
  • Lead, coach and develop the Commercial Analytics team
  • Create a network of market super-users and subject matter experts
  • Build organisational capability to ensure long-term sustainability and adoption
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaborative working across markets
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as senior commercial owner for Exceedra and other external technology partners
  • Manage relationships with key vendors and implementation partners
  • Influence senior stakeholders across markets to support standardisation and adoption initiatives
  • Build strong partnerships across Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and IT functions
